Pharmacy Integrations
Connect OnlyScripts pharmacy start to finish: connect it, save the payment card, pair your medicines, then place a test order.
This page shows you how to connect OnlyScripts (the pharmacy service that fills and ships your patients' medications). You do this once, before you go live. You need to be a Client Admin.
OnlyScripts is the one connection almost every brand needs. This page walks you through it, start to finish.
Before you start
Have these ready:
Your OnlyScripts account key (the code OnlyScripts gives you to connect)
A card the pharmacy can charge for each medication it ships
Who does what: You connect OnlyScripts and save the payment card. Your provider network (the licensed doctors who review orders and prescribe) must turn OnlyScripts on for your brand first. GEN Health support can help if you get stuck.
Time: About 15 minutes of your own time to connect it and save the card. If OnlyScripts is not listed yet, your provider network must turn it on first. That can take a few days.
What the Integrations page shows
The Integrations page holds every connection your brand can use. They sit in groups:
- Pharmacies — where OnlyScripts lives.
- Labs — your lab services.
- Tools — other services you can add.
- Provider Networks — connections your provider network shares with you.
Most brands only need OnlyScripts to start. You can add the rest later.
Set up OnlyScripts, start to finish
Open the Integrations page
In the left menu, click Integrations. You land on the Integrations page. Look for the Pharmacies group near the top.
Find OnlyScripts
In the Pharmacies group, find OnlyScripts. Before it is set up, it shows a Finish OnlyScripts setup panel with two buttons.
Connect your OnlyScripts account
Click Connect OnlyScripts account. A box opens and asks for your OnlyScripts account key. Paste it in and save. The OnlyScripts account chip shows a check mark when it works.
Save the pharmacy payment card
Click Save payment method with OnlyScripts. Add the card the pharmacy charges for each medication it ships. Save it.
Pair your medicines
Once OnlyScripts is active, a new Formulary page appears in your left menu. This is your medication menu. Open it and link each product to a medicine and a price.
Place a test order
Buy one of your own products as a test. This checks the whole path: the order reaches your provider network, then the pharmacy, then ships. If the test order works, you are ready to go live.
Save the pharmacy card, or orders stall. The pharmacy needs a card to ship each medication. Skip it and the order stops with no shipment. If a pharmacy payment fails, your Dashboard shows a Payment needed alert. It lists the order and pharmacy so you can fix it.
Don't see OnlyScripts in the Pharmacies group? Your provider network has not turned it on for your brand yet. Here's how to check: open Integrations. If the Pharmacies group says "No pharmacy integrations are available yet," ask your provider network contact to enable OnlyScripts. Then come back and connect it.

Common questions
Why don't I see the Formulary page in my menu?
Your OnlyScripts connection is not active yet.
- Connect OnlyScripts on the Integrations page.
- Save the pharmacy payment card.
- The Formulary page appears once the connection turns on.
OnlyScripts is not listed in Pharmacies. What now?
Your provider network has not turned it on for your brand.
- Ask your provider network contact to enable OnlyScripts for your organization.
- Then come back to Integrations and connect it.
- Not sure who to ask? Open a ticket from Get Help.
Can staff set up integrations?
No. Only a Client Admin can change this page.
- Client Staff can open the Integrations page and see what is active.
- This helps staff answer patient questions.
- Connecting OnlyScripts and saving the card is admin work.
What are the Labs and Tools groups for?
They hold your other connections.
- Labs shows lab services you can turn on.
- Tools shows extra services you can add.
- Most brands only need OnlyScripts to launch.
